They were touted as the best U15 team in the world with future stars Shane Wright, Brennan Othmann and Brandt Clarke, leading the team to an undefeated season and an OHL Cup victory. At the time, professional women's hockey was at a tumultuous time. One of the premiere leagues folded leaving majority of top talent without a team to play for and legacy to build.
